MyRizal launches PreMYo Rizal with Outstanding Teachers and Educators of Metrobank Foundation!  MyRizal members Lisa Bayot, Maite Gallego, Lois Illustre, and Miko Liwanag attended the Sept. 3 symposium organized by Metrobank Foundation’s Chito Sobrepena and Irene Labitad. In line with its theme, “Si Rizal, Ang Dakilang Guro,” MyRizal outlined the contest mechanics of PreMYo Rizal and asked the teachers to encourage their students to participate.  Keynote speakers were Ambeth Ocampo, who gave a fascinating presentation of the many facets of Rizal as a teacher, and Paul Dumol, who spoke about his NGO PCCED’s programs to promote civic education, and how they help to realize Rizal’s vision of a true democratic society in the Philippines.
