The June 19 celebration at Fort Santiago was made more special by the performances of the Ateneo de Manila University Chamber Singers and songbird Cris Villonco, who gave a soulful rendition of Hanggang and Sinisintang Bayan. Cris will soon be portraying Maria Clara in Tanghalang Pilipino’s Noli Me Tangere at the CCP from August 5-28, 2011.
